It is not often that you come across a client that uses a graphical mascot as their corporate identity. We were intrigued to know more when we got in contact with Leo, the proud owner of Connomara.com. He owns an innovative retail store in Clifden that sells custom-made souvenirs, t-shirts, and mugs, along with a host of other quirky items. We knew this was going to be special!
‘Conn’ was created by Leo’s partner, a graphical artist who has created hundreds of funny artworks based on Irish expressions. These have a target market of tourists and visitors to the region. Many of these drawings have been transferred onto Leo’s products, and gave us a delightful selection of content to use when creating the website.
We were excited to craft something so completely different, quirky, and engaging for users. It truly was a breath of fresh air! ‘Conn’ and Leo were both delighted with the results—especially as its first visitors all gave positive feedback on the design and feel. Also, within an hour of the site going live, it had its first sale!
It was a genuine pleasure to work on this project.
